40 Days privacy policy

Your data stays on your device

40 Days stores your habits, daily records, reminders, achievements, and settings on your device. The app does not send this information to Soondouq Labs. No account is required, and the app has no ads or analytics.

Google Play purchases

The Google Play edition uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time full-version purchase, ownership checks, and restoration. These store operations require connectivity. Google processes purchase and related service data under its own privacy policy and terms. The app caches a verified purchase receipt and ownership status locally to remember access. Soondouq Labs does not receive your payment card details through the app.

Amazon edition

The paid Amazon edition includes every feature and all 40 badges without an in-app purchase flow or the Google Play Billing SDK. Amazon handles the app purchase and related account or payment information under its own privacy policy and terms.

Backups and deletion

You choose whether to export a backup and where to save it. Encrypted backups use a separate password that we cannot recover. Plain JSON backups are unencrypted and are not protected by app lock. Android automatic app backup and device transfer are disabled by the app’s configuration. You can remove local data through the app or your device settings; exported copies must be deleted separately.

App lock and reminders

Optional app lock uses your device’s authentication. We do not receive your biometric data. App lock controls access; it does not encrypt habit records or exported files. Widgets and notifications can show habit details while locked by default. With App lock enabled, you can hide these details in the app’s privacy settings. Reminders are optional and depend on your device permissions and settings.

Children

40 Days is intended for a general audience, not specifically for children. If a child sends personal information to us by email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.

Other services

App stores, your operating system, and services you choose for saving or sharing backups handle information under their own privacy policies.

Updates

We will update this page if our practices change and provide any additional notice required by law.

We receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send to info@soondouq.com or support@soondouq.com. We use them to respond to your question or support request. Email providers handle delivery and storage.

Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information. For privacy questions or to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us, email support@soondouq.com.
